Op. Dr. Gökhan Haytoğlu
- Our contracted doctor, Op. Dr. Gökhan Haytoğlu was born in Hatay in 1982. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Hatay. Then, in 2000, he started his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine.
- In 2004, he participated in research at Washington University Orthopedic Research Lab., St. Louis-USA. He received the title of a medical doctor in 2006 and obtained a degree in The Medical Specialization Education Exam that he attended in the same year. Then he started his specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, at the University of Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.
- In 2010, he completed the USMLE exams in the USA and was awarded the ECFMG certificate. In the same year, he had the opportunity to work with Dr. Guyuron, one of the world-renowned names in aesthetic facial and nose surgery and migraine surgery at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland.
- Meanwhile, he participated in cadaver studies at the Cleveland Clinic, with Dr. McCarthy; a world-famous doctor of craniofacial surgery. He completed his specialty thesis by examining the effect of fat injection on skull defects in rats. This research was presented as a paper at the European Microscopy Congress (EMC2012) in England, Manchester.
- He did his compulsory military service in Kırklareli State Hospital in 2012. He worked at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2014 and in the same year, he received training from Dr. Sozer, one of the world’s leading names in Post-Bariatric Surgery-Body Contouring at El Paso Cosmetic Surgery, Texas.
- Dr. Haytoğlu has many national and international published articles and posters with oral presentations. He regularly participates in national and international congresses and symposiums every year to follow the latest innovations in his field.
